Our Greenwerx Initiative

At Lumenwerx, sustainability is at the very foundation of our Greenwerx Initiative, ensuring we prioritize eco-friendly practices throughout our operations, from product design to manufacturing.

We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint by utilizing energy-efficient materials, minimizing waste, leading upcycling projects, and using 100% renewable energy sources.

We are also a corporate member of the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) and is part of the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) Incubator of the Green Light Alliance. These organizations are devoted to establishing deep green sustainability in the construction and lighting industry, which perfectly resonates with our company’s core values and objectives.

High Standards We Are Committed To

Living Building Challenge 4.0

LBC 4.0

LBC 4.0 requires special parts to avoid Red List chemicals or meet Red List Declared requirements. Potentially problematic components in Lumenwerx products, such as wire, lenses, and gaskets, are replaced to support compliance. Over 80% of products are Red List Free, while another 15% are Red List Declared, both accepted under LBC 4.0. Product declarations and chemical breakdowns are available upon request.

WELL Standard V2

Lumenwerx can help designers and architects meet the requirements listed in WELL Standard V2, which addresses the impact of interior lighting on human wellness. Features covered include circadian lighting, glare control, and electric light quality. These solutions are dependent upon the lighting design and products selected.

Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design

LEED

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program, created by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), rates sustainable, energy-efficient buildings at four levels: Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Energy-efficient LED products from Lumenwerx can help improve a project’s LEED score and support certification credits.
