Evoq The Fixture

Evoq fixtures are powerful, delivering up to 1200 lm/ft with outputs ranging from 3W to 12W. Integrated drivers maximize performance while preserving a clean, minimal form. Four optic options—the Asymmetric Narrow Optic (ANO), Asymmetric Wide Optic (AWO), Symmetric Narrow Optic (SNO), and Symmetric Wide Optic (SWO)—provide precise control for a wide range of cove lighting applications.

Evoq supports multiple mounting approaches, including Mud-In, Direct Mount, and field-curvable ramp profiles, ensuring compatibility with virtually any architectural cove design. Fixtures can also be installed in existing coves as standalone luminaires or mounted using adjustable brackets and rails.

Plug & Play Design

Plug and play makes it easy. Compact and versatile, Evoq 12″, 18″, and 48″ fixtures install seamlessly into deep or shallow coves with minimal effort. Offered with two optic choices for uniform, asymmetric distribution, Evoq provides gentle illumination that can be spaced up to 0.5″, eliminating socket shadows and dark spots on ceilings and walls.

Fixtures are offered with multiple control options for smooth dimming up to 0.1%, and 10+ ramp options for exceptional flexibility. 

Their quick, cost-effective installation with 10+ ramp options, along with adjustable options, makes them ideal for any cove application.

Optics

Control horizontal and vertical distribution through precision-engineered, true asymmetric optics. Designed for optimal illumination with clean beams and no light spill, Evoq’s indirect, asymmetric distribution provides visual comfort and ample footcandles on the work plane, along with impressive color-over-angle uniformity and striation-free distribution.

Asymmetric Narrow Optic (ANO)

Designed specifically for shallow coves. Optimal performance is achieved when fixtures are placed 6″-12” from the ceiling, projecting a soft, homogeneous gradient along walls and ceiling. ANO peak intensity angle from nadir is at 110°, offering a true asymmetric optic that directs light only where it is intended.

Asymmetric Wide Optic (AWO)

Our wide optic (AWO) maximizes light projection beyond our narrow optic (ANO) to create a soft gradient illumination with remarkable uniformity in deeper coves. Optimal performance is achieved when fixtures are placed 10”-36” from the ceiling. AWO peak intensity angle from nadir is at 107°, offering a true asymmetric optic that aims light exactly where it is needed.

Symmetric Narrow Optic

The Symmetric Narrow Optic (SNO) delivers a focused, evenly balanced beam that defines form and highlights architectural elements with clarity. Ideal for emphasizing linear paths, structural features, or areas needing concentrated illumination, it provides controlled, precise lighting that sharpens visual intent without distraction.

Symmetric Wide Optic

The Symmetric Wide Optic (SWO) offers broad, generous illumination that supports general ambient lighting while maintaining a refined architectural presence. Its uniform, evenly diffused output is well-suited for open areas, circulation zones, and spaces where comfortable, consistent coverage is desired without visual noise.

Mud-in Ramps

Mud-in ramps are prebuilt units that let you seamlessly integrate cove lighting into ceilings or walls. Profiles can be field-cut for the perfect fit, then plastered in and painted for a clean, polished ceiling appearance. 

FE1 - Flat Edge Ramp

Build cove spaces right into your architecture. Our flat edge ramp, the FE1, is designed to be field-cut, plastered-in, and painted for a clean, effortless look. Works as a linear or straight patterned cove with illuminated corners.

FE2 - Flat Edge + Air Return Ramp

Need an air vent? No problem. Like the FE1, the FE2 can be field-cut, plastered-in and painted for a clean look, but also includes an integrated vent for environmental comfort. Works as a linear or straight patterned cove with illuminated corners.

KE1 - Knife Edge 35° Ramp

With its sharp architectural detail, the KE1 creates integrated cove spaces at a 35° angle, for linear or straight pattern coves with illuminated corners. Designed to be field-cut, plastered-in, and painted.

CKE1 - Knife Edge 35° Ramp for Straight Structure

CKE1 is included in the mud-in offering, designed for straight structure and to be field-cuttable, plastered-in, and painted. The ramp is factory-built with preset curved corners and seamlessly creates a cove space allowing for curved pattern coves with illuminated corners.

CKE2 - Knife Edge 35° Ramp for Curved Structure

CKE2 is included in the mud-in offering, designed for curved structure and to be field-cuttable, plastered-in, and painted. The ramp is factory-built with preset curved corners and seamlessly creates a cove space allowing for curved pattern coves with illuminated corners.

CRV1 - Curved Ramp Flat Edge for Straight Structure with Curved Corners

Offered with preset curved corners for straight structures, the CRV1 creates rounded coves with illuminated corners. Designed to be field-cut, plastered-in, and painted.

CRV2 - Curved Ramp Flat Edge for Curved Structure

Offered with preset curved corners for curved structures, the CRV2 creates rounded coves with illuminated corners. Designed to be field-cut, plastered-in, and painted.

WCA - Wall Cove Ramp (with Adjustable Brackets)

Designed to create cove spaces in straight patterns with preset illuminated corners. The WCA’s adjustable features let you direct light towards walls at a desired angle without surface pixelation. Optimal illumination is achieved with a 6” minimum distance from the wall (Asymmetric Narrow Optic) and 12” from the wall (Asymmetric Wide Optic).

FE2 Ramp Option: Concealed Air Return

The FE2 eliminates the need for new ventilation openings, saving you time and money. Vents are integrated right into the ramp profile, concealing air returns while delivering smooth, evenly distributed light. With its flat edge, the FE2 is designed to be plastered-in and painted to blend in with surrounding architecture for a clean, smooth ceiling.

Field-Curvable Ramps

Our most flexible and customizable mud-in mounting option. Field-curvable ramps can be cut and adjusted on-site to match the curved or straight contours of walls and ceilings.

Available in two configurations, the FC1 and FC2, field-curvable ramps provide a streamlined architectural cove design for new construction or remodeling projects. 

FC1 - Field-Curvable Corners with Non-Field-Curvable Sections

The FC1 ramp includes field-curvable corner sections, and non-field-curvable straight sections. Ramps are field-cuttable and require plastering and painting.

FC2 - Field-Curvable Ramp

The field-curvable FC2 ramp comes in 6’ sections for curved or straight structures. Ramps are field-cuttable and require plastering and painting.

Direct Mount

Direct mount ramps provide hassle-free, cost-effective cove installations using prebuilt profiles. Ramps are field-cuttable for a perfect fit, with a streamlined architectural finish, for an ultra-clean ceiling aesthetic.

DM1 - Flat Edge

DM1 is included in the Direct Mount offering as prebuilt cove profiles that serve as stunning architectural cove detail. Designed for installation as a finished cove, it requires no additional plastering or painting. DM1 is field-cuttable and allows for linear or straight pattern coves with illuminated corners.

DM2 - Flat Edge with Gasketed Clear Cover

Designed for installation as a finished cove, the DM2 requires no additional plastering or painting. Thanks to a clear gasketed cover, the DM2 is also exceptionally easy to clean and can be coated in our Silverwerx antimicrobial finish. Field-cuttable for linear or straight patterned coves with illuminated corners.

DM3 - Flat Edge with Adjustable Brackets

Like the DM2, the DM3 is designed as a prebuilt cove, but also includes an adjustable bracket for directing light at desired angles. Field-cuttable for linear or straight patterned coves with illuminated corners.
