VIA SEAL

Direct, Indirect, Direct/Indirect

Wet Suitable (IP44) or Wet Listed (IP54)

Via Seal has been designed to maintain the elegant architectural esthetic of the Via family with added protection to repel the elements.

With our Environmentally Protected Optics (EPDO, EPIO), Via Seal blocks dust and moisture, resists UV distortion, and withstands moderate impact. The Via Seal driver is located strategically in the enclosure to protect the electrical components and wiring from contact with moisture, while the circuit boards are coated with an insulative layer that further safeguards against humidity, salt, chemicals, and temperature changes.

  • Great for outdoors, mullion mount, and indoor wipe-down applications
  • Three sizes: Via 2 Seal, Via 3 Seal and Via 4 Seal
  • Continuous line of light
  • Five optics to choose from
  • Lit corners and patterns available

OPTICS

Environmentally Protected Direct Optic (EPDO) - The Environmentally Protected Direct Optic creates a seal that blocks debris and moisture, and withstands UV distortion and moderate impact. This extruded snap-in lens has a gasket to ensure proper sealing. The lens is 1/16" thick and made of frosted polycarbonate. Internally, white, side kicking reflectors guide the light through the lens. The EPDO suits moderate climate environments.

Asymmetric Soft Direct Optic (ASDO) - The Asymmetric Soft Direct Optic creates a seal that blocks debris and moisture, and withstands UV distortion and moderate impact. This extruded snap-in lens has a gasket to ensure proper sealing. The lens is 1/16" thick and made of frosted polycarbonate. Internally, white, side kicking reflectors specifically angled to guide the light through the lens to create a nice asymmetric distribution. The ASDO suits moderate climate environments.

Environmentally Protected Indirect Optic (EPIO) - The Environmentally Protected Indirect Optic creates a seal that blocks debris and moisture, and withstands UV distortion and moderate impact. This extruded snap-in lens has a gasket to ensure proper sealing. The lens is 1/16" thick and made of frosted polycarbonate. The EPIO suits moderate climate environments.

Asymmetric Soft Indirect Optic (ASIO) - The Asymmetric Soft Indirect Optic creates a seal that blocks debris and moisture, and withstands UV distortion and moderate impact. This extruded snap-in lens has a gasket to ensure proper sealing. The lens is 1/16" thick and made of clear polycarbonate. Internally, white, side kicking reflectors specifically angled to guide the light through the lens to create a nice asymmetric distribution. The ASIO suits moderate climate environments.

Widespread Indirect Optics (WIO) - The LumenWerx Widespread Indirect Optic (WIO) uses two vertically oriented LED arrays that couple light into the edges of a linear light guide. A specially designed TIR/microstructure extracts light into the desired “batwing” distribution. Peak intensity hits at 120º while suppressing direct uplight. Peak-to-zenith intensity ratio is 2:1, outstanding for a narrow luminaire. The Widespread Indirect Optic produces noticeably smoother ceiling brightness than a typical lambertian uplight distribution, permitting generally wider spacing as well.

PATTERNS

At LumenWerx, we make it simple to design patterns customized for you. Whether surface, wall mount, pendant or recessed - or even a combination of different mounting types, we make it easy to achieve the results you're looking for. While our standard is a 90º corner, we can customize angles to suit your needs.

CHROMAWERX

Chromawerx Sola is single-channel control that dims output while warming the color temperature in a pre-determined relationship. A simple digital or analog control sends a common signal to dual output digital drivers, which are programmed to adjust a specially populated LED array to emulate the effect of dimming a filament source. Dimming range is programmable but the default option runs from 3500K at 100% of full power to 2700K at 5% of full power. CRI is maintained above 80 throughout the dimming range.

Chromawerx Duo is two-channel control. It uses analog or digital protocols for synchronous control of both warm and cool LED arrays, enabling the user to set color temperature and light output. Commonly called “tunable white”, Chromawerx two-channel control provides the range of warm (2700K) to cool (6500K) color that can be useful for helping to entrain circadian rhythms, stimulate alertness for improved educational and work productivity, and compensate for jet lag, among other applications. The Chromawerx drivers are programmed to limit maximum light output and power usage across all color temperatures. CRI is maintained above 80.

Chromawerx Quadro is a four-channel control that operates an RGBW LED array and addresses the need for more expressive color in architectural applications. The DMX driver supports familiar programming tools for both dynamic multi-hued color and precise white color point control. While a typical user interface will be a DMX controller by others, Lumenwerx also offers a simple control station for stand-alone color changing applications.

PoE

PoE technology can be integrated into many of Lumenwerx’s lighting solutions and product families. For nodes, we always aim for complete integration, but when space is limited, we look for a remote solution that doesn’t compromise the design aesthetic. PoE can be integrated into 95% of our product offering, including our Chromawerx solutions. See PoE webpage
