SQUERO COMBINATIONS

Direct, Direct/Indirect

Squero Combinations bring new style and flexibility to linear lighting systems. Under 2" wide, Squero offers four distinctive optics: parabolic louver, miniature reflector, and diffuser as well as a widespread indirect optic. Each optic provides a different visual texture, as well as photometric performance. Squero Combinations enables the various optics to be used anywhere in the same luminaire, together with adjustable accent modules. Onboard driver electronics maintain serviceability. Squero Combinations can be installed as individual luminaires or in continuous runs and patterns.

OPTICS

MINIATURE REFLECTOR OPTICS (MRO) locates individual, precisely molded TIR elements over each LED emitter, and further shield the source with precise parabolic reflectors. The controlled beam is remarkably comfortable – especially in a small LED luminaire.

MRO is available in a specular black or gloss white finish and creates a distinctive visual texture.

Different TIR elements offer a choice of beam spreads: narrow (18° with SC of 0.3), medium (35° with SC of 0.6), and wide (55° with SC of 0.9). These concentrated distributions can provide effective task illumination in a variety of applications.

Each MRO module is 6" long with five optical chambers.

BFO provides better shielding than HLO. The rhythmic baffle creates a crisp visual texture. BFO is available in gloss white finishes. Each BFO module is 12" long.

HIGH EFFICIENCY LAMBERTIAN OPTIC (HLO) - Matte white side reflectors combined with High-Efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO) shielding of diffusing 0.075" thick acrylic with up to 88% transmission and good source obscuration. Luminaire brightness is controlled by the flux-to-shielding area ratio.

The WIDESPREAD INDIRECT OPTIC (WIO2) is a horizontal LED array with a widespread indirect micro prismatic optic that offers an impressive 160° spread. WIO2 creates an even illumination for smooth brightness on the ceiling that can achieve uniformity ratios of up to 2:1.

The LumenWerx Widespread Asymmetirc Indirect Optics (WAI) uses a vertically oriented LED array that couples light into the edge of a linear light guide. A specially designed TIR/microstructure extracts light into the desired distribution. Peak intensity hits at 110º while suppressing direct uplight. Peak-to-zenith intensity ratio is 2:1, outstanding for a compact luminaire. The Asymmetric Widespread Indirect Optic produces noticeably smoother ceiling brightness than a typical lambertian uplight distribution.

PARABOLIC LOUVERS (SPL AND MPL) - Parabolic louver optics provide excellent shielding and a pleasing crisp visual texture. The precisely molded louvers consist of 1" deep blades and side reflectors with shielding of 50° lengthwise and 45°cross wise.

The parabolic contour of the blades and side reflectors direct light into a comfortable downlight distribution with a spacing criterion of 1.1, while minimizing shadows from the LED array above each cell.

Two finishes are available. Specular (SPL) provides higher efficacy, sharper cut-off, and an ultra quiet appearance at shallow viewing angles. Matte (MPL) offers a softer appearance, a wider beam spread, and gentle brightness transition at cut-off.

PATTERNS

Level corners are used for patterns on a single plane (ceiling or wall). Inside corners are used for patterns that cross into two planes (ceiling-to-wall or wall-to-wall).

ADJUSTABLE ACCENT MODULE

The Adjustable Accent Module (AAM) features a Ø 1.6" x 3.2” cylinder that rotates 360º and tilts 90º. The LED light source is coupled with TIR optics to provide beam angles of 21º, 30º, and 36º while producing up to 600 lumens. LED light source CCT options are 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K, available in either 80 CRI or 90 CRI.

The AAM module can be selected in either a white or black finish and a honeycomb louver accessory is also available. The AAM driver is mounted above the cylinder, inside the SQUERO housing and accepts universal input voltage (120-277VAC) while providing 0-10V dimming control.

TRACKING SYSTEMS

Multiple track systems manufactured by others, are offered in Squero individual, runs or patterns, with or without LED integrated sections. Detailed specifications of the track system must be supplied.

CHROMAWERX

ChromaWerx Sola is single-channel control that dims output while warming the color temperature in a pre-determined relationship. A simple digital or analog control sends a common signal to dual output digital drivers, which are programmed to adjust a specially populated LED array to emulate the effect of dimming a filament source. Dimming range is programmable but the default option runs from 3500K at 100% of full power to 2700K at 5% of full power. CRI is maintained above 80 throughout the dimming range.

ChromaWerx Duo is two-channel control. It uses analog or digital protocols for synchronous control of both warm and cool LED arrays, enabling the user to set color temperature and light output. Commonly called “tunable white”, ChromaWerx two-channel control provides the range of warm (2700K) to cool (6500K) color that can be useful for helping to entrain circadian rhythms, stimulate alertness for improved educational and work productivity, and compensate for jet lag, among other applications. The ChromaWerx drivers are programmed to limit maximum light output and power usage across all color temperatures. CRI is maintained above 80.
