Lumenwerx’s commitment to designing and producing the next generation of luminaires has been recognized by several distinguished awards. The below fixtures have been acknowledged as exceptional, for their excellence in lighting technology and look.

Audia - Red Dot Award: Product Design 2020

Designed with illumination excellence in mind, Audia is capable of up to 30% more sound reduction than traditional acoustic luminaires. Audia incorporates our own patent-pending EchoCore™ technology, which is based on the Helmholtz resonance principles. Composed of 75% recycled content, Audia’s EchoCore™ emits zero VOCs, and is breathable, flame retardant, and mold resistant. With fully integrated controls and multiple lighting options, Audia not only offers design solutions for any space where acoustics control is needed, but it also establishes a new standard in architectural acoustic lighting.

CLUSTERS 2 - Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2019

With our second release, Clusters has grown to more than 1000 luminaire possibilities. These include parabolic louvers in four finishes, adjustables with true 30º tilt, new reflector contours, and surface and pendant Cuboid forms (including surface conduit feed).

  • Cluster Combinations permit multiple optics in an elegant 1.5" wide linear array.
  • Parabolic Clusters enhance optical performance with a UGR of 10 in both linear and planar forms and supports ChromaWerx.
  • The new Clusters wall wash achieves a remarkably smooth distribution that puts competition in the shadows.
  • Our adjustables are available in eight different optical arrangements, matching the fixed downlights and wall wash . . . and exceeding others’ choices.

VOILA 2 - Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2019

Voila introduces our innovative HyFlex, Quad Tier optical design, that combines four techniques for controlling light into an ultra-compact, comfortable, and efficient optical system.

  • Interchangeable beam-shaping media and light engines, easily accessed drivers, and common mounting frames (with less than 4" depth!) provide outstanding flexibility.
  • Excellent efficacy, consistent color quality, a wide range of dimming options, and ChromaWerx make Voila a noteworthy addition to the downlight market place.

HEX - Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2018

Hex is a unique hexagonal luminaire that uses LED arrays in combinations of all six sides to create 11 distinct light distributions and luminous compositions, with consistent output and appearance across all lighted sides. Hex also achieves very high efficacy of up to 135 LPW in a compact luminaire (less than 4″ profile) with multiple optical arrangements.

INWALO - Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2018

InWalo achieves highest efficacy in a shallow, in-wall luminaire with 131 LPW, more than 50% better than closest alternative, while introducing tunable white lighting to this type of product. Simplified, clean in-wall mounting with a sliding drive box and continuous illumination around inside and outside corners enhance the appeal.

ORY PENDANT - Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2018

Ory enhances the effectiveness of indirect lighting from the compact luminaires typically used in lower ceilings, with industry-leading peak intensity at 110∞ and peak-to-zenith ratio of 2:1. Light guide optics provide the desired batwing distribution and a new standard for efficacy (118 LPW) in an indirect luminaire just 2.5″ wide x 1″ high.

TOGO PENDANT - Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2018

Togo advances the effectiveness of functional decorative lighting with a family of annular pendant and ADA-compliant wall luminaires with light output from 1800 to 9000 lumens; efficacy up to 122 LPW; wide spacing and color-changing capability. It’s the first annular pendant to offer power-over-cable suspension, with full control capability.

VIA SPLASH - Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2018

Via Splash brings an IP66 rating (wash down with strong jets of water) to our architecturally appropriate wet location linear system, adding valuable features such as 12’ housing modules for more economical installation and cartridge-mounted optics for simplified maintenance. Of course, Via Splash is now available with indirect/direct light distribution.

SHALO - Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2017

With a depth of merely 1.75" - fits within the height of a typical ceiling grid and yet provides a uniform luminous appearance without LED pixilation. The onboard driver and cartridge-mounted LED arrays using micro-structure optics make Shalo practical, as well as attractive.
Shalo fits a variety of grid ceilings with main runners nominally 4" on center, including TECHZONE™, and can be installed as discrete luminaires, continuous runs of uninterrupted light, and patterns.

ALCOVE RAMP - Next Generation Luminaires & Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2016

ALCOVE Ramp is a self-contained, high-performance cove luminaire. Being highly flexible, it includes its own enclosure, eliminating the need for a site-built cove. ALCOVE Ramp can be installed as an individual luminaire or in continuous runs with quick-connect wiring.

The fixture was praised for its flexibility in beam distribution and height, the innovative mounting adjustments, as well as its smooth dimming control.
This luminaire was also included in the 2016 Illuminating Engineering Society Progress Report. This annual report recognizes luminaires which seek to advance the art and science of lighting.

MIKRO - Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2016

Precise, refined, elegant, and just 1" wide, Mikro presents a crisp, brand new scale in linear LED luminaires, made practical by an integral driver - MIKRODRIVE. This fixture was included in the 2016 Illuminating Engineering Society Progress Report and displayed at the IES annual convention in Florida. This annual report recognizes luminaires which seek to advance the art and science of lighting.

VIA PERIMETER – Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2016

VIA PERIMETER creates a continuously illuminated “slot” at the wall/ceiling intersection. Lighted corners with telescopic end sleeves are available. This fixture was included in the 2016 Illuminating Engineering Society Progress Report. This annual report recognizes luminaires which seek to advance the art and science of lighting.

CAVA – Next Generation Luminaires & Illuminating Engineering Society Report 2015

Cava is a linear LED pendant luminaire with concealed and indirect LED arrays. Cava provides brightness control, while maintaining high efficacy by distributing light over the vaulted interior cavity of the luminaire. Cava offers totally direct or segmented direct/indirect distributions. The luminaire was recognized for its unique and attractive design and its innovative indirect distribution.

This fixture was also included in the 2015 Illuminating Engineering Society Progress Report. This annual report recognizes luminaires which seek to advance the art and science of lighting.
