SQUERO ACOUSTIX

Direct, Direct/Indirect

Superior craftsmanship meets optical performance and premium sound absorption in our Squero Acoustix line. Made using fine-cut acoustic felt, Squero Acoustix sports a crisp flat end cap and offers four standard optics for advanced illumination—matte parabolic louver, specular parabolic louver, Miniature Reflector Optic (MRO), and High-Efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO)—as well as adjustable accent modules.

Squero Acoustix fixtures are also available in preassembled V, X, and Y spoke shapes, created by linear units joined together with custom hubs. Shipped directly from factory, the spokes add visual interest and dynamism to any given space.

OPTICS

MINIATURE REFLECTOR OPTICS (MRO) locates individual, precisely molded TIR elements over each LED emitter, and further shield the source with precise parabolic reflectors. The controlled beam is remarkably comfortable – especially in a small LED luminaire. MRO is available in a specular black or gloss white finish and creates a distinctive visual texture. Different TIR elements offer a choice of beam spreads: narrow (18º with SC of 0.3), medium (35º with SC of 0.6), and wide (55º with SC of 0.9). These concentrated distributions can provide effective task illumination in a variety of applications. Each MRO module is 6" long with five optical chambers.

HIGH EFFICIENCY LAMBERTIAN OPTIC (HLO) - The High-efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO) shielding of diffusing 0.075" thick acrylic with up to 88% transmission and good source obscuration is combined with matte white side reflectors to create an efficient optical chamber with uniform luminosity. Luminaire brightness is controlled by the flux-to-shielding area ratio. For visual comfort, avoid high lumen output unless Squero is installed in a high ceiling application. Spacing criteria: 1.2 (longitudinal) x 1.1 (lateral).

PARABOLIC LOUVERS (SPL & MPL) - Parabolic Louver Optics provide excellent shielding and a pleasing crisp visual texture. The precisely molded louvers consist of 1" deep blades and side reflectors with shielding of 50º lengthwise and 45ºcross wise.

The parabolic contour of the blades and side reflectors direct light into a comfortable downlight distribution with a spacing criterion of 1.1, while minimizing shadows from the LED array above each cell.

Two finishes are available. Specular (SPL) provides higher efficacy, sharper cut-off, and an ultra quiet appearance at shallow viewing angles. Matte (MPL) offers a softer appearance, a wider beam spread, and gentle brightness transition at cut-off.

Widespread Indirect Optics (WIO2) - Vertically oriented LED arrays couple light into a linear light guide. A specially designed TIR/microstructure extracts light into the desired “batwing” distribution with smooth ceiling brightness and wide spacing.

ADJUSTABLE ACCENT MODULE

The Adjustable Accent Module (AAM) features a Ø 1.6" x 3.2" cylinder that rotates 360º and tilts 90º. The LED light source is coupled with TIR optics to provide beam angles of 21º, 30º, and 36º while producing up to 600 lumens. LED light source CCT options are 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K, available in either 80 CRI or 90 CRI.

The AAM module can be selected in either a white or black finish and a honeycomb louver accessory is also available.

CHROMAWERX

Chromawerx Sola is single-channel control that dims output while warming the color temperature in a pre-determined relationship. A simple digital or analog control sends a common signal to dual output digital drivers, which are programmed to adjust a specially populated LED array to emulate the effect of dimming a filament source. Dimming range is programmable but the default option runs from 3500K at 100% of full power to 2200K at 5% of full power. CRI is maintained above 80 throughout the dimming range.

Chromawerx Duo is two-channel control. It uses analog or digital protocols for synchronous control of both warm and cool LED arrays, enabling the user to set color temperature and light output. Commonly called “tunable white”, Chromawerx two-channel control provides the range of warm (2700K) to cool (6500K) color that can be useful for helping to entrain circadian rhythms, stimulate alertness for improved educational and work productivity, and compensate for jet lag, among other applications. The Chromawerx drivers are programmed to limit maximum light output and power usage across all color temperatures. CRI is maintained above 80.

PoE

PoE technology can be integrated into many of Lumenwerx’s lighting solutions and product families. For nodes, we always aim for complete integration, but when space is limited, we look for a remote solution that doesn’t compromise the design aesthetic. PoE can be integrated into 95% of our product offering, including our Chromawerx solutions. See PoE webpage
